First Friday devotions
The most important day in a regular month was First Friday. The sacrament was exposed after the 0800 hrs. Mass and remained exposed until Benediction at night. During the day the Blessed Lord was never alone because parishioners took turns to stay with Him.
Our Lord's promise: "Just by practicing devotion to His Sacred Heart and keeping our First Fridays He promised us all the graces necessary during our state of life and at the last hour". Monsignor: "Really, think about it! How much our Lord offers us for so little from our side....."
