Mieke married Antonius Hendrikus SEESINK "Tom", son of Hendrikus Johannes SEESINK "Henk" and Cornelia Apolonia Petronella ZUIJDWIJK "Nel", on 27 Dec 1963 in The Hague, Netherlands. Tom was born 3 Oct 1930 in The Hague, Netherlands.

Tom emigrated to the USA in February 1968 and settled down in Lutherville, Maryland.
Mieke followed him with Elleke and Frank in July of the same year.

They had the following children:
