Being
the last but not least of the three kids Annette was born in Baltimore, MD on
March 18, 1975. She was baptized in the Basilica of the Assumption of the
Blessed Virgin Mary, the oldest Basilica in the United States located in
downtown Baltimore. Mieke's brother Pim and his wife were her appointed
Godparents but since they were overseas and could not be present they were
represented by the Seesink's neighbors and friends Sam and Judy Shaker.
Six months after her birth her dad was transferred to New Jersey so Annette's
stay in Lutherville was very short. The family had bought a house in Franklin
Lakes in Bergen County but could not move in prior to January, 1976.

Once settled in Franklin Lakes Annette stayed at home but in 1979 she started
attending nursery school in nearby Oakland. However also that did not last long
because in 1980 the family moved to Blairstown.
She continued in Blairstown in kindergarten and in 1981 started her elementary
education on the Blairstown elementary school.
She completed the 5th Grade but then in 1986 the family moved again, now across
the State Line to Bangor, PA.
She had to complete the 6th Grade on the parochial school "The Immaculate
Conception" in Pen Argyl where Elleke later would become a 5th Grade teacher.
In 1987 after she had finished 6th Grade she transferred to the Pius X High
School in Roseto.
In 1993 she graduated and then went on to Penn State University (PSU) to study
architecture.
In January 1997 she traveled to Rome to study architecture during a full
semester as part of the PSU curriculum.
Meanwhile she had been accepted for an internship with a light architecture firm
in Torrance, California.
Once returned home from Rome she went on to California where she worked
there until the end of the summer.
In September of that year she started her final year at the University.
In May 1998 she graduated from Penn State University (PSU) for her BS in
architecture.
In October, 1998 she was offered a position with an architectural firm in
Boston, MA which she accepted.
In February, 2000 she left the firm in Boston and joined a Lighting design
company in Concord, located West of Boston.

Annette met Jason in Boston, Mass. where she
resided and worked as an architect.
On August 23, 2003 Annette and Jason married in St. Roch's,
our parish church.
The following year in 2004 they moved to New York City where
